- What exact tile/slate covering is being installed?
- How are flashings, ridges, hips, valleys and vents handled?
- What allowance exists for damaged decking/timbers?

Do not be embarrassed to ask for clarification. A major home-improvement quote should survive ordinary homeowner questions without pressure or vague answers.
